Pillar 02

Managed IT
you'll actually
want to call.

Day-to-day help with computers, email, files and backup. Working alongside your own IT person, or as your whole IT department. UK-based, named engineers, no script-reading. Fast response in business hours.

Two models

Fully outsourced,
or co-managed.

Most of our managed-IT customers don't have anyone in-house. Some do, and we work alongside them — splitting the work so the in-house team focuses on the strategic, and we handle the volume.

MODEL A

Fully outsourced IT

We become the IT department. Strategy, run, support, projects — all of it. The single phone number people call when their computer won't start.

  • Named primary & backup engineer
  • A clear plan for what to spend and when
  • We deal with the suppliers, so you don't
  • A proper sit-down review when it helps
MODEL B

Co-managed with in-house IT

Your IT manager keeps the strategy and the relationships; we take the day-to-day volume and the specialist jobs — support, networks, phones and cloud — and cover them when your person is away.

  • A clear split of who does what
  • Shared notes & records
  • Specialist knowledge on tap (no hiring)
  • Holiday & sickness cover built-in
The numbers

Per person, per month,
plain English.

The base price covers the helpdesk, looking after Microsoft 365, and the tools we use to support and keep an eye on your computers (antivirus quoted separately). Backup and project work (networking, installs) sit on top. Hardware quoted separately.

FROM
£45/person / month
+ £8/person/month for backup. Networking and installs quoted per project. Most clients take both.
I've worked with three IT companies in this job. Plum is the first one where I feel like the team genuinely care whether we hit our quarter.
